Faerieway Events was founded by Sam, a lifelong nerd who has always loved magical worlds and adventures. She and her sisters had a secret hideout in the woods, played knights on their ponies, and thought Halloween and costume parties were the best things ever. They devoured books and movies and created adventures around the dinner table or in the garden.

This led Sam to feel that Sweden needed more magic, so just before the pandemic, she started a tea salon offering fantasy-themed afternoon teas, but she quickly realized that baking wasn’t as much fun as planning and executing the events. A new company was created, Faerieway Events, which would organize fantasy balls and bigger events where guests would feel as though they were stepping over a threshold into a magical world.

Our goal has always been to create magical events where you can go on adventures, dance, watch performances, and truly feel like you’re in another world—and we hope to create many more events in the future!

    FAERIEWAY FOUNDER

    Sam is the founder and our planning wizard. She has a wealth of experience in event planning, organizing afternoon tea, theater, and costume design. She finds venues, plans entertainment, writes storylines, sources the perfect food and drinks, and creates a magical experience for everyone to enjoy.
